Are you wishing for darker, more dynamic looking lashes? Maybe you had darker, thicker features, and you’re noticing they’ve begun to fade over time? Jenn from LaVigne noticed what she thought were some pretty fabulous-looking before-and-afters of Keratin Lash Infusion (“KLI”) and tint treatments on my Social sites and became curious…here’s what happened!

Note from Jenn:
“I’ve had very dark, full lashes and brows my whole life, and just in recent years, noticed my lashes turning more noticeably downward, and seeming to be lighter in colour, and possibly less thick. I missed my dark brown, Italian features!

Being fairly hesitant around beauty enhancements of any kind (bar some hair colour), I must have asked Robin more than twenty questions and watched over 50 of her before & after treatment shots come through my social feed before deciding – Hey, I’m likely representative of a number of LaVigne Natural Skincare fans, curious about enhancing their lashes. But I’m not interested in a full set of false lashes. It’s just not me. I was on a mission to discover if lash lifts are worth it!

A natural keratin lash lift seemed like the perfect solution for me. I decided to be a guinea pig for you all – and I’m so glad I did! I love my beautifully turned up, darkened lashes. Thank you, Robin!

So What is a “Lash Lift”?

The easiest way I explain this to my clients in one sentence without getting too technical, is that it’s “like a perm for your lashes”. But a standard lash lift uses a chemical solution to debond and realign the hair structure, and then a neutralizing solution which holds the lashes in place.

Is a lash lift damaging? Well the truth is that yes, Lash Lifts can be damaging. Much like the perms we used to get in the 80s, many lash lift products contain thioglycolic acid aka perm salt, which are used to break down the bonds in the hairs so that they can be restructured.

Why is this treatment different?

At Brows by Robin we offer the Keratin Lash Infusion, a very unique product which uses cysteine HCL, the amino acid of keratin (and naturally found in your lashes already) to debond the lashes and a heat process which furthers along the very gentle process. This means that we are able to provide a 100% damage free lift that lasts 6-8 weeks! Jenn’s lashes were also tinted during this treatment, bringing back the richer colour she is used to.

Six things to love about a Keratin Lash Infusion:

  1. Maintenance free
  2. You can still wear mascara
  3. Grows out naturally
  4. You can pick your desired level of lift
  5. Relaxing service where you can close your eyes and relax for 90 mins
  6. Our lift does not contain animal biproducts, is not tested on animals and the keratin is from vegetable sources

Follow up note from Jenn:
At writing, it’s been over a week since my Lash Lift & Tint, and I’m very happy with the look. I haven’t put on any mascara day-to-day because it just doesn’t feel like I need or want to. I love this look! Take a look at my lash lift before and after pictures to see the amazing results!
