MEET LINDA
Hello! I’m Linda, the founder and owner of LaVigne Natural Skincare.
I have to admit, I never planned on starting a natural beauty empire, but I guess these things find you.
When I set out on this journey, I was truly inspired to create products that would help others solve their most difficult skincare challenges. I knew I wanted a skincare line that was dedicated to holistic health and natural ingredients, offering the highest of integrity and efficacy, free from harsh chemicals and parabens, focused on nurturing skin from external stresses.
This all started in 2002 when I was living in Mexico and I was immersed in the local culture. It was through speaking to the local people that I first learned about their traditional skincare practices and amazing “skin tree” ingredient, Tepezcohuite.
That discovery sparked the beginning of the natural skincare line you see today, which has grown to over 30 products, powered by an array of carefully selected ancient botanical gifts from Mother Earth. Leaning on ancient wisdom which includes, Sacha Inchi of Peru, indigenous Willowherb, Himalayan Swertia Chirata, to name just a few, as well as science-based ingredients of the highest quality.
Our first product, Mayan Magic, became our hero product and the core of our company. I could see the magic (pun intended) that this powerful balm had and it continues, to this day, to inspire our whole skincare line.
As we celebrated 20 years in business in 2023, I believe our longevity is powered by the amazing results our loyal fans have seen in their skin, and their excitement in sharing their positive experiences. We appreciate every wonderful review you take the time to share. It means the world.
LaVigne’s 100% vegan, cruelty-free formulas are made in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, for women who are health-and-natural-lifestyle focused, but aren’t willing to compromise on quality and results. MAYAN MAGIC, TELL ME MORE…
Ancient Ingredients ~ Amazing Results is the core of our skincare company and it originates from the Mayan culture where it was known that the earth offered powerful remedies. One such recent example, was an incident in 1984 in Mexico City, where hundreds of people who had been burned in a series of explosions had their wounds dusted with Tepezcohuite bark powder. The natural properties of the bark powder provided comfort to the injured and is one reason why the tree is commonly known as the ‘skin tree’.
In collaboration with our formulator we combined the magic of the ancient wisdom with our vision of an all-natural skin care line that made zero compromises. No toxic ingredients, we wanted something a-MAZ-ing? Go planet!

Hi, I’m Jenn,
It really is no surprise to me that my mom, Linda, created a natural beauty empire and family legacy. I remember sitting on the floor at Banyen Books in Vancouver as a young child watching her look through every resource she could find to learn about wellness.
She has an insatiable curiosity for knowledge in preventative holistic health that has imprinted on me and shaped how I view beauty as a woman, mom and a leader in the beauty industry.
We wanted to fill a need for simple, natural products from a line that anyone can understand and this line is a reflection of us, uncomplicated.
