Bananarama once said it’s a “cruel summer.” While many of us enjoy the hot weather outdoors, the idea of a cruel summer can definitely become a reality when it comes to our skin. Consider the following six tips to achieve and maintain a healthy summer glow.
1. Use sunscreen every day.
Apply a sunscreen of an SPF 30 or higher. To minimize your routine, consider choosing a foundation with a sunscreen. Make sure to reapply sunscreen every two hours, or whenever you towel dry.
2. Clean and moisturize daily.
Cleansing your skin every day gets rid of excess oil and dirt. Skipping cleansing may also increase a buildup of dead skin cells. 4. Shave properly.
